A Springettsbury Township man was fined $100 for harassment all because he thought he was shorted on his fries at the 4015 E. Market St. McDonalds.

Mourad D. Isaac, 38, of the 100 block of Ambleside Drive, was cited for an incident around 9:45 p.m. April 23 after he argued with and pushed a McDonalds’ employee.

Isaac reportedly threw his fries on the counter and demanded his money back and then, also reportedly, tried to walk away with both the fries and the cash.

When the employee walked around the counter to stop him, he reportedly pushed her into a trash can with his body, stepped on her foot and made a motion as if to hit her.

Another employee chased Issac out of the restaurant.

Isaac was cited by Springettsbury Township Police and was found guilty by District Judge Barry Bloss.

Isaac appealed the conviction to York County Court where, on Wednesday, Judge Richard K. Renn found him guilty again and reinstated the $100 fine plus court costs of $85.63.

Isaac could not be reached for comment.
